1. Geolocation & Operational Coverage

Sun White Laundry operates an exclusive clean-room care laboratory in Guwahati. To maintain high logistical standards and on-time valets, our pickup and delivery service is currently restricted to five active zones: G.S. Road, Christian Basti, Paltan Bazaar, Dispur, and Khanapara.

Clients must verify their location before scheduling by inputting their 6-digit Guwahati postal pin code on the checkout or booking pages — the system automatically checks it against our serviceable zones. If your pincode falls outside our standard coverage zone, checkout will be blocked and you can contact our helpdesk to request a custom valet dispatch as we continue expanding coverage.

2. Delivery Speeds & Surcharge Tariffs

We offer two delivery tiers tailored to client schedules and urgency:

  • Standard Delivery (3 Business Days): Best suited for routine wardrobe maintenance. Standard orders are returned cleaned and steam-pressed within 72 hours of pickup. Standard delivery is complimentary for orders with an aggregate service value exceeding ₹1,999. Orders below this threshold are subject to a ₹99 flat service fee.
  • Urgent Express Delivery (24-Hour Return): Formulated for time-critical engagements. Express garments are routed immediately into priority cleaning channels. An Express surcharge is calculated and applied to the invoice at checkout.

A minimum order value may also apply before a booking can be placed — this is shown on the checkout page if your cart does not yet meet it.

3. Doorstep Valet Handoff & Security

To ensure safety and wardrobe accountability, our trained logistics agents follow strict handoff protocols:

  • Garment Inspection & Verification: During pickup, our valet checks and documents the count of items. A digital receipt containing the exact count is sent via SMS/WhatsApp on handoff.
  • Valet Waiting Bounds: Our valets are instructed to wait a maximum of 10 minutes at the door. If a client is unreachable, the booking will be flagged for rescheduling.
  • Sealed Laundry Bags: All items are transported in sealed garment bags to prevent environmental dust or moisture exposure during transit to our care laboratory.

4. Valet Delivery Protocol

Once your garments have completed our artisanal steam-press and quality control check, you will receive a message to schedule the delivery. Clean garments are hung in custom dustproof covers and must be signed for on delivery. If you request drop-off at a security gate or doorstep, Sun White Laundry assumes no liability for loss or environmental damage post-delivery.
