Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Service items and final invoice amounts are confirmed after diagnostic analysis inside our laboratory.
Complete removal of set-in, aged, or chemically treated stains is not guaranteed due to fiber degradation risks.
Disputes or liability assessments are governed exclusively by local legal authorities in Guwahati.
1. Acceptance & Contractual Binding
By accessing the Sun White Laundry digital storefront, creating a client profile, or scheduling a doorstep valet pickup, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these guidelines, please do not use our services.
2. Laboratory Inspection & Invoice Adjustments
Online listings and standard menu pricing are baseline indications. Once garments arrive at our care laboratory, our fabric experts inspect them for material condition, stains, or needed specialty treatments.
We reserve the right to apply surcharges or alter billed items (e.g. converting a standard wash to a premium dry cleaning category if required to prevent color bleeding or fiber shrinkage). In such cases, we will alert you and seek approval before processing.
3. Technical Limitations & Stain Removal
Our chemists use premium, eco-friendly solvents and advanced spot-testing to achieve optimal cleaning. However, complete stain removal is governed by textile limitations:
- Certain set-in, aged, or pre-treated stains (especially oil, rust, or ink) cannot be removed without risking fiber rupture. We prioritize fabric preservation over aggressive chemical stripping.
- Suede, leather, silk, and heritage traditional wear (e.g. Mekhela Chador) are processed strictly in accordance with material tolerances. Natural imperfections or aging of skins/pigments are excluded from service liabilities.
4. Governing Law & Dispute Resolutions
These Terms of Service and any contractual relationship between you and Sun White Laundry are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes, mediation processes, or quality claims must be resolved exclusively within the jurisdiction of the courts located in Guwahati, Assam.
